MOUZ join ENCE, BIG, and HEET at the tournament taking place shortly following the IEM Rio Major.
MOUZ have been directly invited to compete at Elisa Masters Espoo, a $200,000 LAN tournament that will take place on November 16-20 in Espoo, Finland.
A total of 12 teams will compete at the event, with MOUZ now being the fourth team confirmed, joining ENCE and BIG as the two other invited teams as well as HEET, who secured their spot by winning the Elisa Invitational Spring.
Five more teams will be directly invited by the organizers and three more come from Elisa tournaments, including Elisa Invitational Fall, which has reached the halfway point of the Swiss group stage so far.
MOUZ are currently the highest-ranked side confirmed to attend the Finnish tournament. The team around Christopher "dexter" Nong recently brought the German organization into the top ten on the back of runs to the quarter-finals at IEM Cologne and ESL Pro League season 16.
At the latter tournament, MOUZ debuted their new lineup following the surprising promotion of their former academy member, Dorian "xertioN" Berman, who took Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras' place on the lineup during the summer tournament break.
Now, they are knees deep in their quest to qualify for the IEM Rio Major as they are competing in Malta at the European Regional Major Ranking tournament. The European side is one series win away from qualification for the Valve-sponsored tournament, with two chances left to do so. Later this month, they'll also play at ESL Challenger Rotterdam, and should they qualify, at the IEM Rio Major itself at the end of October.
